"I think snacking really, if you're really genuinely hungry in between meals, then you didn't put your meals together properly," she says. "It's always that checking in with myself: Am I stressed? Am I bored? Why am I desiring to eat when I know I'm not hungry?" She recommends people lean into the fact that if they put their macros together, they shouldn't need to snack.
