Is There Balance in Public Broadcasting?
I don't think the BBC is quote balanced on whether climate change is happening or not. What I think you have to say is that truth overcomes balance, but then there's some issues like should you cut or raise taxes? Well, absolutely, you should be balanced because there isn't a scientific consensus. It's absolutely on the political front line and the BBC should not be taking a view on whether taxes should be high or low. So welcome, Roger.
