Hegel is in many ways a titanic figure trying to provide a powerful grammar, philosophical set of concepts and conceptual vocabulary. So he's enormously popular. And as I said, this form of German idealism spreads across Europe very powerful ways, deeply influential. You'll even see figures within America, like just saw a Royce early on in the intellectual history of America, deeply influenced by Hegel.
