The way a bat hears through echolocation is probably very different. It's probably more like the visual system. Do we know if the way that bats think about sound sort of melds with the visual system differently than it does in humans? Well, I don't know the answer to that question very deeply except to say that if I were a bat and I was, I mean, because I think of echolocated as a way of seeing the world, right? Because they use it to navigate and to find things.
