The Importance of Critical Thinking in Ethics
I like to see what happens with 18-year-olds who are grappling with challenging stories and the timeframes that they suggest. I think another important thing that we want our students to understand is how institutions work, how traditions, how culture works on us as moral agents. How do we develop the questions and the ways of even seeing how those things influence us? These are not, I don't know if we want to call that ethics, right? Maybe not.
