The Doctor Who Theme Song
For the studio version, both Waters and Gilmore played bass. You can tell which one is Gilmore because his bass sound is a lot duller. This is because when they sent a roadie to get new bass strings, he decided he'd rather go see his girlfriend and didn't come back to the studio. The lesson is buy your own bass strings. There's a sitcom like C-plot in there somewhere. Second of all, if you're a Doctor Who fan and you thought that middle section sounded suspiciously familiar, yes, that is a direct quote of the Doctor Who theme they threw in there.
