Dangers and Limitations of AI: Comparisons to God's Plan of Salvation

Ross Richey joins us today to talk about one of the most interesting topics we’ve heard from a guest on Saints Unscripted. He starts with a discussion about ChatGPT and AI. What does that have to do with the gospel of Jesus Christ? Well, Ross focuses on intelligence, something frequently talked about in our scriptures and in our church. David and Sabrina have a moment of expressing their fears about intelligences 😅 and how things might change in our world. Ross then talks about Abraham 3 and its relation to these intelligences. Abraham 3 is quite parallel to what is happening with intelligences in the world, including the need to prove these intelligences to verify their goodness prior to progressing them. 🤯 He discusses the need to determine what is good and give those intelligences choices between good and evil, just as we have been giving commandments and the ability to choose good or evil.
