The Importance of Lunch Culture in Singapore
In Singapore, the hours between sort of 12 and two was sacred. It's understood that if you are scheduling something like a 12 o’clock meeting or a one o'clock meeting, most of the times, I mean, that's taboo. Most of my colleagues would talk about brag about, you know, I'm so busy, I didn't even have time for lunch,. And it really deeply felt uncomfortable for me. This goes against what we need to do to create more inclusive cultures.
