What Is It That Motivates 18 Year Olds?

There is always this, i mean, it's such a sort of a level question, i suppose. Ah, is it top down, or is it bottom up? And obesly there's attention, but threthere the bottom up nature of it. The students, you know, taking things into their own hands. But i suppose, you a level, you would talk about local elites or local groups taking things imto ther in hand,. maybe not directed by the centre. That then raises a really interesting question, because like so many revolutions, or so many movements, there is always this Top Down vs Bottom Up debate.
