Is Your Coach a Soothsayer?

i think that training is a lot about making decisions. testing ideas with safety fail experiment is another thing i wish i'd experimented more with myself as an athlete, because maybe i could have improved my performance by using different training approaches than the ones i stuck to rather too rigidly. And there's an academic you could say, well, you would say this, wouldn't you? But keep learning would be another thing. We are a long way from ever knowing all we need to know about this tis this journey, and it's different for every single athlete.
