Kotlin and Scala as Java Plus Plus

I think most people that just want a better Java, they've embraced Kotlin at this point. I love Scala and there's a lot of really great things that I enjoy in the Scala language. But it took me many years to kind of get to where I am with Scala. And I don't think most people are willing to put that amount of effort into learning a new language.
