Scott Adams sent off Dobert comics to a syndicate. One of these syndicates responds, and then somebody responds saying they're interested. When he sees the syndicate that said yes to him has no idea who they are. "This is like definitely the luckiest break this man has ever had in his entire life" He gets signed. Dilbert starts out by 1990. It's in 50 papers. By 1991, it hits 100. That sounds like a lot today because there are like maybe 30 newspapers left in the country. Most of them are just SEO aggregators.
