The Differences Between Community and Just a Solar Farm
Community solar is a solar field that has been built and essentially either the developer or another company sells a subscription to part of that, uh, solar farm. And then they bill me separately at a 10% discount to what they paid the utility. So I'm paying for a, they pay for part of my bill and I pay them at a reduced cost. The developers making money by selling the carbon credits essentially from that solar farm.
