The El Reno Tornado

Tim Samaras was traveling with his son, Paul, and another twist ex-member Carl Jung. Their plan was to drop probes in front of the tornado but as it did with all the chasers, the storm took them by surprise. The May 31 El Reno tornado ultimately took eight lives. Despite being the largest tornado in recorded history, it caused relatively little property damage.
