Can I Unlock the Door With the Touch?

You can only unlock the door once while you are still within the go fence of the lock. So if i want to unlock the door a second time, i have to run 200 meters down the block and then run back. What i can do it yet, they call that a safety feature, and i have yet to figure out exactly why.
