The Importance of Phoneme Flashcards
I decided to go with sound spelling correspondences as my way of describing the relationships between letters and sounds. I realized that if I wanted teachers to come away with an understanding of what a graph theme is and what a phoneme is I should have hammered that home. The ability to flexibly break words into syllables is a really valuable thing and I just don't mention it which is yeah not ideal, giving myself a bit of a hard time on that one. There are definitely definitely things that I would change so for example I don't mention much about echo reading because of issues that I've seen and I personally have with teaching it in a classroom setting where often the most struggling pupils end up
