Platonism and Time
Platonism says that the mathematical realm is independent of the physical realm entirely in a way that stock markets aren't. But before we get there, let's talk about time and why that is such a difficult notion scientifically. How has physics put pressure on our common sense notion of time? All right. So now I'm again, you'll hear a lot of people object to but nonetheless, I'm going to say it because I think it's obviously true. And so that implies a certain structure which we take into account virtually in every moment of our living.
