China's Unmanned Air Vehicles Are a Great Threat to US Aircraft Carriers
I think there are real constraints on China's ability to operate beyond the first island chain, but they don't have much to do with American carrier power. I would argue with American and also Japanese submarine capability and also other anti-submarine weapons. What I'm looking for is to see whether China really embraces that technology more and relies more on unmanned air vehicles than the Americans seem able to do right now. The United States has been extremely reluctant to embrace that air power revolution.
