Introduction
The Summit for Democracy will take place in Washington on March 29th and 30th. CSIS Human Rights Initiative director Marty Flax joins us to talk about the event. The original idea for a summit, a convening of democratic countries was something that came out of the Biden campaign in 2020. In December of 2021, they got together over 100 heads of state in a virtual summit to talk about democracy.
