Children Need Attention, Not What They Do

Teach children to separate fact and feeling based reasoning. Teach em to focus on objective facts instead of feelings. Help them identify and address things over they have control. Be authentic with your praise. If you're excited about something, tell them. And remember to put in the praise. Too often we are quick to criticise, but we take for granted the things our kids do. We want to make sure that wea regularly providing,. as teachers, school counsellors, parents, whatever, authentic praise and genuine interest.
