The Lord Gave Them Rest on Every Side
The last lines of today's readings in Joshua chapter 21 are so powerful because it sums up why we went through all those names. The last words is the Lord gave them rest on every side. Just as he had sworn to their fathers. Not one of all the good promises which the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed. And there is something so, so good for us to hear that.
