I think everyone reaches their threshold to the point where they have to evolve from being that yes person and be able to switch it on and off. According to I think most Chinese people's mentality, saying no is considered not that polite. And for instance, you say, when Chinese people are saying, please help me finish this. When we say we don't want to, we always would express that as I can't. But having that ability to go from both realms is really important and healthier.
