We've equated loneliness and being alone with abandonment. You can be lonely, but that doesn't mean you've been abandoned. Solitude and loneliness externally look the same, but they're completely different things. And to me, it's because being alone feels like abandonment. It feels like everyone has left us. We've created a feeling of being enamoured and being forced to admire being together - why can't we just celebrate ourselves? I don't know who i'm going to take.
