Immortality in the Image of God
Yue: It sounded like jason was saying basically that in the image of god, we're created immortal. And then from that, we can look at the, the passage in genesis where they are kicked out of the garden so that they don't have access to the tree of life. We know that that immortality cannot be part of the amago day because later in genesis, the reason why murder is made is a commanded against. But even if it did, what it would mean, clearly, as jason pointed out, is when adam and eve fell. They lost at least that aspect of what it means to be created in the images of god.
