Josh Bertolotti: I'm gonna wildly speculate about something that I've got no real justification for claiming whatsoever it's just a caveat but there were at least according to one source more volumes of the discosis of Epictetus. It may be that when marxers quoting Heraclitus he's quoting it via Epictetus or another stoic because from Cleanthes onwards they were known for being really into Heraclitus. Josh, if any listeners are interested in in what I'm up to probably the best spot is perennial meditations on sub stack and then link to your account so we'll see how kind of like seamlessly that works actually.
In this episode, I chat with J.W. Bertolotti host of the In Search of Wisdom podcast, and founder of the Perennial Leader Project. Josh was one of the speakers at our Stoicon-x Military event a few years ago. We’re both very active on Substack now, Josh at Perennial Meditations so I thought it would be a great opportunity to reconnect and chat about philosophy as a guide to life.
