The Regional Banking System: What Citigroup Has to Say

The regional banks are right in the crosshairs of what the Fed is continuing to do. And I just don't know how they're going to keep their funding costs from eating all of their profits or worse watching their deposits flow out to money markets. This is definitely not a year for people to want to take a lot of risks with this space, given how quickly interest rates have risen. But that doesn't mean I want to take more risk here. So I'm in JP Morgan. I think it's the least amount of risk you can take and still be in a growth story.
