Nicholas Sturgeon, Scotland's first minister and the SMP leader is resigning after over eight years. We're joined by our Scotland editor, Chris Deere, to discuss why this has happened and its implications. Steve Richards: I don't think anybody expected her to go on the timescale that she has. She'd done really what she wanted to do and those which wasn't much in my estimation,. But it was hard to see what her vision would be for the next 10 years of Scotland. And then we had the de facto independence referendum plan where she wanted to use the next general election as a sort of a effectively an independence referendum.
