What Is Alienation?
The opening lines of uno marxs 18 57 introduction ofthe inetion that attached to the grundres the wory, talks about how its only in bourgeois civil society that you get this individual thatist sees itself as fully autonomous and independent. It seems to me that that is more interesting and productive, rather than think alienation a loss of self. But alienation is a loss of objectivity, i one way to put it. I mean that what capital does as it doesn't so much deprive individuals of subjectivity, it reduces them to a pure, abstract subjectivity, that of labor power. And that's the alienation.
