The Differences Between Vector and Neural Search
I think like tabular data, so to speak, has consistently been dominated by tree-based models. This is a completely different thing from deep learning and neural search. Those things integrate pretty well with like the learning to rank plug-ins in Solar and Elasticsearch. You can plug in a vector similarity into that kind of tree-based model but the opposite isn't necessarily true.
