The Movie vs the Short Story
It's a really interesting world to explore science fiction through why why go there and it totally worked. And then you also have the alchemists gate, which is the first short story in exhalation. That was so good too. So they're they feel very different even though the core of them is the same. Even Ted Chang has said he thought it was a wonderful adaptation. But the prose really explores like the ideas and the thoughts of the characters. There's not as much action versus the movie which adds more suspense actions.
