Working With Kids on Anger and Aggression

Children develop through relatively set stages in several areas. Social-emotional development affects how children deal with tough emotions, approach problem-solving and conflict resolution. If there is stress at home, work on an action plan to reduce and minimize whatever is causing that stress. Lack of self-esteem frequently affects a child's ability to deal with anger.
