The Library of Oxyrincus Papari
In 19 o seven, we dug up a rubbish dump containing whole libraries at the site of the ancient greek town of oxyrincus in upper egypt. On the other hand, we know about some fascinating libraries, even though they've disappeared altogether. And again, the most important example is the library of alexandria. But another later, and actually more typical instance is the library which pliny the younger funded lavishly at comom. The presence of the library will encourage my townsmen in virtue,. I personally despise riches, and i am happy in my freedom from the chains of avarice.
