The Negotiation of Gods in the Bible

In the beginning of the Bible, everybody kind of believes in a lot of different gods. We don't get to the point of this philosophical argument that there is only one deity until well after the Bible. Even at Paul, we have Paul saying there are many gods and many lords, but for us, there is one God, the father. It means as far as we're concerned, there's only one God's all the other ones. You can have them. Right. And I think that you see some of this negotiation. One of the most fascinating aspects of looking at how Adonai has come in and kind of appropriated balls divine profile.
