The History of Shin Tang

The jade gate built during the western han emperorwo's long reign, that was the end of the road as far as as far as china went. The good stuff came from shincho, from the kingdom of kotan, hutien and mandarin. They carved it out of the kunlun mountains that acted as a picture perfect postcard backdrop to that kingdom. Hotan is one of the bigger and more important oasis kingdoms we'll look at later on in this episode.
