The industrial revolution started with threat. It's because it was such a huge leverage in the standard of living. Spinning, throughout history, has basically been a female occupation. And unlike weaving, which, depending on the culture, sometimes men did as sometimes women did it. People spin to day for fun. It can be relaxing. You can gossip while you're doing it. But it, it was a constant occupation and that's something i think we don't appreciate at all to day.
