Diocasias - The Antithesis of Roman Womanhood
Budica is an iconic figure because she was one of the very few women to take on the might of Rome. In AD 60, she led a rebellion against the Romans, which nearly cost the then Emperor Nero the province. She's depicted by Dio as somebody who is beyond the pale, beyond civilization, and all the more frightening for that.
