Young Tommy was supposed to be Brad Pitt. He dropped out because Thulman Louise became a big movie and he was getting other offers. John Favreau auditioned for the role of fat ass, but said it was the worst audition he ever did. Rob Reiner offered Frank Therabont three million bucks to allow him to direct this film.
