Is There Something Fundamentally Different About the Scientific Revolution?
Humans domesticated themselves by this kind of self-organized process so it's not actually because of scarcity but kind of the opposite they created the scarcity through their own actions without realizing it. From the scientific revolution onwards nature was desacralized it's just a resource to exploit and it's no surprise that there in the 17th century was not just when the scientific revolution began but also when capitalism first began in its modern form.
