It took us a while to find our voices. We tried so many different things, each kind of creative had different elements of no success. The first three paragraphs have to be really strong, because it's what you see before the paywall hits. Am sourcing is a huge problem in mainstreet media. So that's one thing we changed. And there are also cultural analysis pieces that don't involve any form of primary sources.
