What Is a Tongue Tie Surgery?

There is a new sort of movement to do tongue tie surgery, or tongue exercises. The exercise is called mio functional therapy and there are specific types of tongue exercises that are recommended. And the surgery is often an increasingly called tongue tie surgery. But it's much more envasive than the exercises - they will snip the frenula in order to relieve the pressure or the tightness between the tongue and the jaw. There real tongue ties, especially in infants.
