The City of Oakland Is Facing a Budget Crisis
The city of Oakland is facing what some people are calling kind of a budget crisis. The Department of Violence Prevention will see a $4 million cut to its budget in the next two fiscal years. Community advocates that I spoke with are really concerned about this cut. Reports have found that these cuts could influence up to 2,000 people.
