CNN's John Sutter talks about how transparency made journalism worse in a lot of ways. He says journalists are human beings and they have biases, just like he has his own. The problem is that journalism developed a culture of everyone talking to their friends at three in the morning with a bar - which isn't good for it. 'It gave people incentive to build their own personal brand at the expense of the institution'
