Introduction

A federal judge ruled yesterday that Mike Pence, former vice president, must testify about pertinent matters leading up to the January 6th insurrection at the Capitol. The ruling itself remains under seal. It likely means that Mike Pence is going to have to talk to a grand jury about conversations he had with former president Donald Trump. Now Pence likely has very little desire to spend time testifying in a special investigation targeting his former boss.
