My mother wanted me to go into law as a posted maybe accountancy. And that's not no slight on account because she wanted me to be a lawyer for social justice. Being born black in britainand particularly at that time, and ad it still is now, was a very, very cold country and an extremely overt racs country. So my mother actually raised us all to want to use whatever natural skills we have to serve. My way of serving, and in specificity, the community that i came from, but in generally any one who wanted to come in and partake. Was through the application of heart, through art.
