The Negative Effects of Podcasting on Scholars

Dan Carlin has a huge audience in podcasting, which is more than most of us. He talks about how he's not a scholarly person in history. So why him? It does get back to this, like who gets to be the voice of the way a scholarly field is going to be these books? I think sometimes it's great when you see a couple of Romanian podcasts that interviewed this Romanian language podcast and they were undergraduates. And then the negative one is where people can be very sniffy, like, well, that guy, this, this,this, and so on.
