Natural law principles do apply also to animals. harming another conscious being, it more rather than a rational acting being. So when you go out and slaughter another animal that has not initiated aggression against you, eh, then you take an innocent life and and you consume it. It's a parasitic behavior,. If if your level of analysis is olistic consciousness, am as in some spiritual traditions,then thatis, that is absolutely valid. Inside this model, it makes sense. And i think that's the main argument of of many ethical wi vigans.
