The Logic of Reason

Pinker's basically just said that logic is divorced from the meaning of the meanings of the claims it represents. He goes on to a section which he titles classical versus family resemblance categories. These are two distinct areas. One can help to inform the other, but just copy pasting one onto the other isn't a recipe for producing necessary truth. Pinker ends the section by concluding quote, they still fall short of life in all its plenitude.
