What Is the Halifax Donar?
The donar sauce is evaporated milk that's been curdled with vinegar, which sounds delightful. It was originally turkish, brought to halifax by a greek person who makes it kind of like a uro but uses lebines peta and then creates this sweet sauce. A lot of people will eat it with a fork and knife or with their hands on the table. You're going to get it on your face, down your arms. It's so saucy and so meaty.
