The LKB1 Kinase in Neuronal Neurons
LKB1 is a key regulator of cell polarity in general, but especially in neurons. This kinase seems to be a master regulator of axon development. It controls many different steps in axon development from axon specification during your normalization all the way to terminal axon branching. And it seems also maybe presynaptic function. So this has been an interesting pathway for us to study.
