What Is the Difference Between Guru and Guru?

Rishis and rishikas were those who could see or discover what was not accessible to ordinary human beings. They both have the same knowledge at least we hope that the guro has not always been the case. The guru is one who made that discovery with the help of the teachings of his or her guru. But under ideal situations, the Guro has the same knowledge as the rishis.
